The European visa centers in Armenia have turned into real ghetto, head of the Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohrabyan said in the parliament Tuesday.  

In her words, people of all ages – from young to old – are pushed into a waiting room, where they have to wait for hours. “This is nothing but uttermost humiliation. And these centers themselves do nothing but receive the visa applications and readdress them abroad. Actually, dozens and thousands of drams are collected only for stapling papers. An end should be put to this. We don’t treat their citizens like that,” Zohrabyan noted.
