If Stanislavski together with Nemirovich-Danchenko were alive, they would say «Не верю». Naira Zohrabyan tells about MP Postanjyan and other oppositionists

12/15/2015

In an interview to Tert.am the PAP Leader and the Head of the PAP parliamentary faction Naira Zohrabyan, referring to allegations by Zaruhi Postanjyan and other oppositionists towards PAP, noted that in case the members of a "non-existent" political force organize another show, they will receive a response from the PAP party, which will represent such factual data on the purchase and sale of seats in electoral commissions by the "Heritage" party, "that this political force will not be able even to enter the session hall."

Ms. Zohrabyan, yesterday, the PAP Spokesman Vahan Babayan, indirectly, but accused the opposition MP Zaruhi Postanjan of "giving schizophrenic speeches," and Mikael Melkumyan in general graded opposition with the mark "insufficient". Please comment on whether these comments aren’t rude”.

“My colleagues, I believe, have clearly responded that a "non-existent" political force has no right to speak on behalf of the opposition: the member of the party that together with other opposition parties had sold their seats in the electoral commissions. Of course, this time the auction price was a bit cheaper compared to the parliamentary and presidential elections, but they will have a last chance for the auction in the parliamentary elections scheduled for 2017.

Yes, nobody says that there haven’t been any irregularities during the referendum. Yes, there have been and yes, this referendum once again did not raise society's confidence in the electoral process.

Numerous allegations were addressed to concrete the PAP party”.

“The “Prosperous Armenia” party gave an instruction to its members of the electoral commission to ensure free and fair elections in their places. The press reported on three PAP members of the electoral commission and the PAP party is seriously engaged in this issue.

But if the representative of a "non-existent" political force and other opposition political forces continue hanging from the PAP, instead of doing their job, I assure you that such factual parenthesis will be opened on the purchase and sale that these political forces will not be able even to enter the session hall. Moreover, the facts will not only concern the recent auctions in the committees, but also their various transactions with the authorities at different times.

By the way, using the fact that different TV Channels and websites will definitely show only that part of the mentioned show, the next show is being organized.

And yet screaming loudly is not a standard of the most honest and incorruptible opposition. It is time for our colleagues to understand that. If they do not understand, we will present concrete facts to the public that who are the people who scream loudly in the session hall. If Stanislavski together with Nemirovich-Danchenko were alive, they would say «Не верю» (we don’t believe). I’m repeating, you shouldn’t sell your seats for wads of money so as you could give the other political forces any assessments. And I’m repeating that each political force should concentrate on its job, instead of giving assessments at the expense of other political forces and neutralizing a huge number of votes receiving once as quickly as one can utter “Our Father”.

One of them is that the people...”

“I would like to ask those who speak on behalf of the people that if they declare themselves Dalay Lamas of the opposition, then where are their followers: At least 100 out of 400.000 should be in the Freedom Square. About 300 people are gathered, half of which are policemen in civilian clothes and the other half are journalists.

I’m repeating that tens of thousands of people voted "no," but that "no" didn’t refer to the Constitution, but the current situation in the country. And, yes, that "no" recorded a serious shortage of confidence in all political parties, and above all, in the authority. This is a fact, and here all political forces are guilty. But who are the judges?
