Prosperous Armenia Party expresses its concern on the recent events. The citizens of the Republic of Armenia have the right to protest in accordance with the law and Constitution to achieve the solution of social problems. It is not possible to address the most serious problems exerting violence towards civil activists and journalists performing their professional duties. Violence increases tension and blocks the possibility to handle social issues through dialogue. The Prosperous Armenia Party urges to refrain from the actions which will definitely bring to the escalation of tension.

The recent peaceful but decisive protest by thousands of young people we assess as a precise message to the authorities and all the political forces that the accumulated social, economic, public and political issues need an urgent solution. Our state and society need changes, advancement and development. Precise development projects, open and public discussions, difficult, but correct decisions are necessary. This is the way, there is no other way.
