YEREVAN. - When making proposals to take out new loans, the Government has never said who answered for the old ones and how they did that. Leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” faction said the aforementioned in the parliament today.

According to her, there is no point in asking who wants new and modern roads and who doesn’t, but the question has to do with the confidence to the authorities and targeted use of means. “We must know what each kopek of the credits which the Government brings to our attention is spent on. We, the MPs are also to be blamed for something, since we can’t use our supervisory powers properly,” she added.

In the framework of the World Bank’s Program on “Improvement of Roads of Vital Importance,” Armenia is provided a loan in the amount of $40 mln.
