At their meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan members of the Prosperous Armenia party re-affirmed their position on constitutional amendments, Acting Spokesman of the Prosperous Armenia party Vahan Babayan told Tert.am.

As to whether the Prosperous Armenia party will take part in discussions or speak out against, Mr Babayan said:

“I am stating our official position – the Prosperous Armenia party has re-affirmed its position on constitutional amendments.”

On his Facebook page, Mr Babayan left the following message:

“I confirm that President Serzh Sagsyan has had a meeting today with Prosperous Armenia party members. Participating in the meeting were Naira Zohrabyan, Mikael Melkumyan and Stepan Sargsyan. The sides discussed the process of constitutional reforms. The Prosperous Armenia party members re-affirmed their position on constitutional reforms. Discussions are continuing.”
