On December 16 the delegation headed by Gagik Tsarukyan - the leader of “Prosperous Armenia”  Party, the founder-president of «Multi Group» Concern, the president of National Olympic Committee of Armenia visited Zagreb upon the invitation of the president of Croatia

Gagik Tsarukyan met the president of Republic of Croatia Stjepan Mesić on the same day.
During warm and sincere conversation, two parties, taking into account many things that the countries have in common, discussed collaborative tendency between both countries in the spheres of economics, sports and tourism. The parties specifically considered the collaborative opportunities of both countries’ leading business groups as very important and mentioned that this collaboration could expand in the spheres of higher technologies, construction, production of building materials, trade and other spheres. Both parties emphasized the mutual interest in fast developing economies and in methods of economic management of both countries.Parties specifically disscussed the matter of developing mutual co-operation in the sphere of tourism, especially directing the potentials of the tourism companies of both countries towards each other to the maximum.

Parties have also reached an arrangement of reinforcing the ties between National Olympic Committees of both countries. Gagik Tsarukyan as the president of National Olympic Committee of RA suggested sharing advanced experiences and organizing joint sport meetings of athletes. Parties mentioned that many prizes won by the combined team of Armenia at the Beijing Olympics are truely ensuring high presitge to Armenia and its experience can be interesting to many countries.

On December 17 the president of Republic of Croatia arranged an official banquet for the delegation headed by Gagik Tsarukyan.
