PAP PRESIDENT GAGIK TSARUKYAN MET WITH DEPUTIES OF THE SWEDISH PARLIAMENT

"Prosperous Armenia" party president Gagik Tsarukyan on April 25 met with deputies of Sweden Kingdom parliament Aneli Enikson and Frederick Malmi. On 11th of March 2010 the Swedish Parliament with the participation and efforts of the mentioned people made a decision on which what occurred in 1915 in the Ottoman Empire recognized as genocide.
Swedish parliamentarians also actively are working towards strengthening and developing inter-parliamentary ties, “Armenia-Sweden”. Welcoming the guests Gagik Tsarukyan noted that the entire Armenian nation remembers that during the discussion of the decision condemning the Armenian Genocide Aneli Enikson’s voice was the deciding, since the decision was made with the 131 in favor and 130 against votes. "You can be assured that Armenia is trusted and reliable partner for you", - said PAP president Gagik Tsarukyan.
In turn, the head of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group "Armenia-Sweden" Aneli Enikson thanked for the hospitality. "We are touched that you appreciate our work," - said a Swedish parliamentarian.
Deputies of Swedish Parliament, noted that inter-parliamentary friendship group between the two countries in the future are going to visit Armenia and Artsakh one more time.
