PAP Continues to Implement Social Programs
The “Prosperous Armenia” party continues to focus its attention on the Yezidi refugees who have come to Armenia from Iraq. Today, the PAP Leader Naira Zohrabyan and the representatives of the PAP Governing Body visited the Yezidi refugees living in the Zvartnots village of the Armavir Region. The youth of the “Sinjar Yezidis National Union” NGO had joined the PAP representatives.
The Social Support Project has been implemented together with the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists, the member of which is the “Prosperous Armenia” party. Within the framework of the Project furnaces were purchased for the refugee families, as well as necessary flour for the winter months and necessary construction materials, paints and other equipments to repair the refugee shelters.
The refugee families were provided with certain financial aid by the “Prosperous Armenia” party.
The Yezidi refugees mentioned that from the first days in Armenia they had felt the support of the “Prosperous Armenia” party to the Community and they are also thankful that the PAP MPs touch upon the crime towards Yezidis from Iraq on various international platforms.
