NOCA PRESIDENT PARTICIPATED AT THE JUBILEE 5-TH JUNIOR MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT OPENING CEREMONY

On 30th of March, President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan in Gyumri participated at the jubilee 5th Junior tournament in freestyle wrestling in memory of wrestler Serob Grigoryan. About 200 participants from different regions participated in the tournament.

According to experts, in the regions of Armenia each year is growing an interest to wrestling, thanks to the attention of NOCA. President of NOCA Gagik Tsarukyan made a speech, he advised to hold similar tournaments in all regions. "Such events are welcomed; they encourage a healthy lifestyle, healthy way of thinking. We are ready to support the various youth tournaments and projects. There's nothing impossible, wish and desire and the victory will be yours for sure"- noted in his speech NOCA president.

For spreading the Olympic ideas and contribution in the development of sport Head of Shirak region Wrestling Federation Martun Grigoryan was awarded with the medal "Trdat the Second Arshakuni”.

The youth contests followed. Tournament winners and their coaches were rewarded with a prize fund of $ 5 million drams.
