Yesterday took place New Year's Eve event dedicated to the best athletes and their coaches of RA, which was attended by RA President Serzh Sargsyan, the second RA President Robert Kocharyan, NOCA President Gagik Tsarukyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and other officials.

President of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan welcomed the presents and noted that 2011 was expectant; athletes had to maintain forces in preparation for the London Olympics in 2012.

President Serzh Sargsyan also welcomed and congratulated the representatives of the sporting world with New Year and Christmas.RA President personally handed cash awards to several athletes, including the Roman Amoyan, Arsen Julfalakyan, Hripsime Khurshudyan and others.

Top 10 athletes of Armenia and vice European champion Araik Mirzoyan were awarded with cars by NOCA president Gagik Tsarukyan.
