-“Prosperous Armenia” Party as all other parties announces that participates in Yerevan alderman elections for the purpose of winning. Are you really geared up so bellicose?

- And why are you doubting? Isn’t it clear that everything that is done by Gagik Tsarukyan, is done on a very high level? Our wish is to win. We made our proportional list for a particular reason; there are people who are well-known among the society in our list. Our candidate is respected both as a leader and as a specialist, and we want him to have a chance to be elected and continue implementing his activity in Yerevan. We take part in these elections for the purpose of winning.
 
- You say that you take part for the purpose of winning; other members of coalition authority also say that they participate in these elections for the purpose of winning. Does that mean that something is wrong inside coalition, is there any confrontation?

- There is no confrontation. Each political force takes part in the elections with its implemented work and trust among the society, and it is very important for people to go and take part in the elections too, in order for them to have a chance to elect the one they trust, believe and whose program they approve. They must take part and give their vote to the party and to the candidate whose real work they have seen, whom they know and trust.

If the electors give their vote to us, then our candidate will be elected as a city mayor and will fulfill all the promises he gave to people, that is our party program. But if each member-party of the coalition doesn’t have enough percent then of course we will unite.

But right now we all participate for the purpose of winning. We want people to trust us, to evaluate our work, out team, our projects. We will struggle for normal, equitable elections. 

-What is “Prosperous Armenia” Party’s attitude towards these elections? Are these political elections for you?

-All the elections are political for us. Each person or a political force must refer to any elections as the elections of his carried out projects and work. We don’t want a simple existence, we want to work, to do away with all the shortcomings, refresh our team and have the trust of people. Yes, there is anxiety among society today, that Beglaryan Gagik is already elected. But, Beglaryan Gagik is only appointed but not elected. The elections must take place on May 31st and the citizens must take part in these elections and say their word, and their votes are very important. 
 
 - Many people are now concerned by the thought that perhaps March 1-st incidents will be repeated during Yerevan alderman elections.

-No, there won’t be March 1st. We participate in the elections, and the candidate who receives the most votes from people will be elected. We will jointly struggle for equitable elections for people to have a chance to give their vote to the one they prefer.

-Will the appeals of “Prosperous Armenia” Party be like the appeals of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun? Are you going to make opposition appeals? 
 
- We will never make such announcements, we won’t pick on anybody. We are telling people to give their vote and demand. Our word is a real work. We promise more than our potential is, but at the same time we do more than that. That is our characterization, that is how we work. We don’t want to gain authority by picking on others. We will pick on neither Dashnaktsutyun or  Republican Party of Armenia or Government or “Rule of Law” Party, nor on Opposition. These are free elections and our word is a real work.
