Meeting with the Newly Appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Armenia
Gagik Tsarukyan, the chairman of Prosperous Armenia Party, received the new Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia, Petr Pirunčík. PAP President first congratulated Ambassador Pirunčík on his appointment, wishing him fruitful work and expressing hope that the ambassador will make a contribution to the further strengthening and deepening of relations between Armenia and the friendly Czech Republic.
Within the framework of the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the agenda of issues related to the bilateral cooperation. The parties expressed their willingness to make all efforts to fully realize the existing potential of cooperation and stressed the importance of mutual visits in deepening the relations. Gagik Tsarukyan presented the Ambassador in detail with the consequences of blocking the free movement of people and goods through the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, stressing that Artsakh is facing the threat of a humanitarian and demographic crisis. Gagik Tsarukyan emphasized that the illegal actions and bellicose rhetoric of the Azerbaijani leadership seriously endanger the possibility of achieving peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
