Dear Compatriots,

It is already one day a group of Azerbaijanis, citing fabricated environmental reasons, blocked Goris-Stepanakert highway, which is the only road linking Artsakh with Armenia. Our compatriots in Artsakh are now under a de facto blockade being deprived of their right to freedom of movement and facing a threat of food crisis. The situation around Lachin corridor is an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

Azerbaijan is violating its international obligations, once again giving a message to the world about conducting an anti-Armenian, genocidal policy.

Since yesterday I have been in a constant touch with the Government of Artsakh and expressed my willingness to support with any issue.

I emphasize the importance of Russian Peacekeeping Troops’ mission to provide peaceful and secure life in Artsakh and I am sure this problem will be soon resolved.

And finally, my message to our compatriots in Artsakh is that Artsakh is not alone and we will achieve the fulfillment of the right of Armenians of Artsakh to live peacefully in their own land with the help of all Armenians, our allies and the civilized world.
