In an interview with Tert.am, Armenian MP Naira Zohrabyan commented on an official statement by Armenia’s National Security Service, saying that on Sunday morning a group of armed people burst into the headquarters of the patrol force regiment of Armenia’s Police and took hostages, threatening violence.

A statement issued by the ‘Sasna tsrer’ group arouses concern. Now that a threat of full-scale war is facing, any such gambles and attempts to provoke a civil war in Armenia are extremely dangerous.

“I can say one thing for sure: rebelling is not a way of resolving problems. A group or political force that does not have at least tens of thousands of supporters has no moral right to speak on behalf of the whole people. This is a right of a political force that has several thousand supporters,” Ms Zohrabyan said.
