A lawmaker of the Prosperous Armenia will temporarily replace the party’s former spokesperson who stepped down on Friday, a day after the party’s, leader Gagik Tsarukyan, announced his resignation.

The report was confirmed by the party’s newly elected chairperson, Naira Zohrabyan. “Yes, Tigran Urikhanyan told us that he was stepping down as the press secretary and upon the party’s decision, Vahan Babayan who is a National Assembly member will temporarily assume his duties starting from today,” she told Tert.am.
