After the four-day stubborn and unyielding tournament the 7th Youth Memorial Tournament of freedom fighter Vachik Mkrtchyan was completed in Yerevan. For the review medals competed 120 boxers. Gagik Tsarukyan followed the final single combats of the  tournament on spot.

The commemorative tournament of the renowned boxer Vachik Mkrtchyan is organized on the initiative of his friends. The tournament organizer, Russian resident, former boxer, Major-General of Justice in Russia Aramayis Martirosyan, highly appreciating Gagik Tsarukyan’s contribution to the development of national sport, awarded the NOCA President with a Special Cup.
