A few days ago in the press were spread about the resignation of Vice Mayor of Ararat Karen Khachatryan and about his leaving of "Prosperous Armenia" party ranks.

By publications after retirement has begun a great exodus from the PAP ranks and 400 inhabitants of the region provided applications to withdraw from PAP and passed the membership cards. To familiarize with the situation the regional office of Ararat was visited by representatives of the central office of PAP. The Regional Office worked in their daily regime and in the time of the visit registration of party member was going on.

After reviewing several applications on leaving the party ranks, it became clear that the applicants have never been PAP members and the applications were provided on behalf of random people. Most of the remaining applications were falsified.

To the PAP regional office came all those people on whose behalf the applications to leave the party were written. Surprise and indignation caused falseapplications from residents of the region.
