On 26th of April at noon on a road Vanadzor-Gyumri European and World champion, weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan got in a car crash. After receiving first aid champion was transferred to the Yerevan Medical Center “Erebuni”. On the same day the president of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan visited Nazik Avdalyan.
