20 years since the founding of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, celebrated at a high level in Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendaryan. The festive event was attended by NOCA President Gagik Tsarukyan, Prime Minister of RA Tigran Sargsyan, distinguished guests and partners.

President of NOCA Gagik Tsarukyan made a welcoming speech. He congratulated those present on the occasion of the celebration. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of NOCA Gagik Tsarukyan presented a flat to the world champion Tigran Martirosyan. For his invaluable contribution to the development of sport in Armenia NOCA President Gagik Tsarukyan was awarded with the medal "Pierre de Coubertin" by the International Olympic Committee.

Let’s remind that on the 11-14th November a forum with representatives from National Olympic Committees of the 11 CIS and the Baltic states was held in Yerevan.
