On March 3, 2010 PAP president Gagik Tsarukyan  hosted the delegation headed by “European people’s party” president Wilfried Martens. During the meeting a private conversation between Gagik Tsarukyan and W. Martens took place, in the course of which the sides exchanged ideas about strengthening interparty bonds and relations and perspectives of future cooperation.

In the golden hall of the RA National Assembly W. Martens 0met the parliamentary fraction of PAP and the PAP members of city council of Yerevan. The EPP president noted the willingness of the “Prosperous Armenia” party to integrate into united European policy, expressing hope, that this year EPP will make a decision on the question of providing observing member status to “Prosperous Armenia”.

Gagik Tsarukyan thanked Mr. Martens and stressed that the two parties are united by similarities in ideology and values, which, from now on, will  be endorsed by personal communication and partner relations between the two leaders.
