Prosperous Armenia Party in the settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations, guided by the principle of its program concept, in which the question of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the level of  participation and guidance of the Republic of Armenia should be subject to national, state, and real profits.

On 12th February, 2009 at the fourth congress of PPA Chairman of the "Prosperous Armenia" Gagik Tsarukyan again approved PPA approaches to resolving the Armenian -Turkish relations without any preconditions, noting that two peoples as neighbors should have the opportunity of an internationally accepted communication, and in the region should not be closed borders.
 
Applying the aforementioned basic principles of the political program of "Prosperous Armenia" on the occasion of the recent developments in the settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations, we find that

1. In published documents, in general, there are reflected PAP principles on  resolving Armenian -Turkish relations without preconditions, which are also in the foreign policy of Armenia.

2. We find that the Armenian -Turkish dialogue without preconditions can also facilitate the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and changing public opinion of the Turkish society. Arising of this issue by force is deemed unrealistic.

3. It is acceptable for us, that in signed protocols the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh is not mentioned in any place, which Turkish side many times represented as a precondition for the founding of diplomatic relations with Armenia.

4. The proposal to establish an intergovernmental commission is a positive trend in the settlement of Armenian-Turkish relations, which will let to discuss the wrinkled themes of the Armenian-Turkish relations at the highest level of governments, including the issue of recognizing the Armenian Genocide by Turkey.
