During April 3-rd press conference NA Economic Affairs Committee Deputy Chair, “Prosperous Armenia” faction member Vardan Bostanjyan spoke about the influence that the world financial crisis can have on Armenian economy. He also commented upon the publications that occurred in newspapers about Yerevan alderman elections.

Vardan Bostanjyan mentioned that today RA government makes rather confusing step under the name of reallocation and avoids to interpret it as on-budget expenditures reduction, sequester. Speaking about RA Central Bank prediction about GDP 3% increase, Vardan Bostanjyan mentioned that it is rather early to make any predictions.  

To the question “Whether these elections will pass in strained rivalry", Mr. Bostanjyan answered that all the political forces are very serious inclined. Particularly the circumstance that political coalition is going to be separately presented in Yerevan alderman elections already means that everyone will undertake the control of this activity separately. The control mechanisms are numerous, even for those who, operating by inadmissible ways, will intend to supply their candidates with more votes.

”Speaking about “Prosperous Armenia” Party and its candidate list, then a considerate manner is noticed here, and a person who shows himself as a person who forms, preserves, really takes care of the society, helps people, is chosen to be the first in PAP candidate list. That man is Harutyun Kushkyan”, -added Mr. Bostanjyan.
