4th CONGRESS OF “PROSPEROUS ARMENIA” PARTY STARTED IN THE GOVERNMENT CONFERENCE HALL

The 4th congress of “Prosperous Armenia” Party took place on February 12, in the conference hall of the government. RA President Serzh Sargsyan, NA president Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, several representatives of associate coalition parties and of political sphere were participating in this congress. Several delegates of the biggest political parties from foreign countries also participated in the congress.

During the PAP congress, several representatives of the political field also welcomed the participants of the congress. Hrant Margaryan, member of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Supreme Body, Secretary of RA National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan, the leader of “Heritage” fraction of NA Armen Martirosyan, after greeting the participants of the congress stated that after short period of time “Prosperous Armenia” became the 2nd political power in our country.
During the last year PAP actively worked in the sphere of establishment and strengthening the international relations. The representatives of the political fields of Russia, Ukraine, China and Croatia also gave their welcoming speech to PAP. Among the reporters was Igor Chernishenko, the delegation leader of the “Edinaya Rosia” Party, the delegation leader of the Communistic Party of China Tian Unsan, delegation leader of Ukrainian “Party of the Regions” Alexander Lavrinovich, advisor of the president of Croatia Miro Pipich. The reporters mentioned that they evaluated the collaboration with PAP as productive and were hoping for continuous mutual collaboration.
The president of «Prosperous Armenia» political party Gagik Tsarukyan also addressed his welcoming speech to the presents. He mentioned that today «Prosperous Armenia» political party is a mighty and effective political union which enjoys the confidence of the people and has hundred of thousands people standing at their back.
The Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan and the Secretary of PAP Parliamentary faction of NA Aram Safaryan presented the works accomplished in Executive and Legislative bodies. Many issues of the party program are included in this year’s program of the government. At the same time it is impossible to imagine the activities of NA 4th seating without many legislative initiatives on the part of the PAP deputies» mentioned the reporters.
Vahe Enfiajyan, Member of Political Council of PAP presented the activities of the youth wing of “Prosperous Armenia” political party. He specifically mentioned that Gagik Tsarukyan's support addressed to the realization of youth projects was continuous.
The report on the PAP Political Council's activities was presented by the Vice President of Political Council Samvel Adamyan. After that, the delegates of the congress evaluated the work of the Council as satisfactory by voting. The next task was the election of the party president. Gagik Nikolay Tsarukyan was unanimously reelected as the president of PAP.
Within the frames of the congress, new political council was also elected which had 90 members. After that, the political council suggested to adopt 2 announcements which concerned the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the inner political situation. Dealing with a new political situation in the world, new challenges but at the same time new horizons we are going to preach our ideas by bringing them to people. These words concluded the 4th PAP Congress.
